Meet Guitar Instructor, Paul Moeller

Guitarist, Paul Moeller received a Graduate Performance Diploma from Peabody, where he spent four years under the tutelage of world-renowned guitarist, Manuel Barrueco. Mr. Moeller holds a Bachelor's degree from Northern Illinois University and a Master's from the Eastman School of Music, where his solo abilities also gained him a Performance Certificate. He has performed guitar concertos with the Northern Virginia Symphony, the Connecticut Concerto Consort, the Columbia Orchestra, the Northern Illinois University Symphony Orchestra, the Peabody Symphony Orchestra, the Catholic University of America Symphony Orchestra and the Beloit-Janesville Symphony Orchestra.

Paul also performs in a chamber music duo with his wife, cellist Kerena Moeller. His debut CD “Around the World and Bach” has earned critical acclaim as well as their duo CD “My Better Half” contains all cello and guitar duos. Paul Moeller has taught the guitar at such notable institutions as the Maryland Conservatory of Music and the Levine School of Music in Washington, D.C. He is currently an Associate Professor of Guitar at Northern Illinois University and faculty guitar instructor of the Rockford College Academy of Music.
